History
New Alipore College started its journey on 5th August 1963 as a Government Sponsored Co-educational Degree College affiliated to university of Calcutta. During its eventful existence the college played an important role in advancement of learning it's academic and extra-curricular facilities to the students of south Kolkata and adjacent areas of Behala, Batanagar, Budge-Budge extending to Diamond Harbor.
